I hope we'll be able to change all control settings via scripts. It would be very useful if I could set wheel rotation for every car.

DFP is not a cheap plastic wheel. I have it for more than 9 months. CRC2005 and LFS with max FF settings and I don't have any problems with it. See the attachment, it shows the internal parts, they are strong enough for some serious fun
HLVC is a bit too forgiving?

Hi! I think HLVC should be more strict. Please watch the replay, LFSW/S2 Hotlaps/Hotlap Charts : South City Town with FZR. The fifth place. I damage my car in the 4th lap and HLVC says Lap-OK... Do you think this is all right?

Edit: I've attached the replay

I think you should try this site, it's very good for hosting vids. http://tv.isg.si/site/

Quote from axus :This is freaking me out... I don't know if its a bug or not but when I'm driving the BF1 on a track, when I go over a bump the in-game wheel turns quite a bit (I'd say up to 5degrees, depending on the bump) while I'm keeping the wheel in my hands in the same position. Also, I don't feel any FF from this. It looks really odd. Is this a bug?

I've noticed this too, but not only in BF1 and not only in this version.

"but who needs a minute in blackwood ?"

The WR with FO8 is 1:00:53, so this might be a hint at a faster car

Quote from SamH :That isn't something that can't be resolved. A few phonecalls etc. There's obviously a relationship between the car manufacturer and the LFS devs, or the car wouldn't be in LFS to start with. Orion's concept is a fine piece of work, but Orion isn't one of the devs, and there's the separation that I see between the RAC and the RAR in LFS.

I hope devs can persuade them, but we don't know the devs opinion about this.

Quote from Breizh :Orion, they explicitely dismissed possibility of making it themselves?

NZ, why would that be a problem?

RA is not their car, so I assume that they don't have permission to modify it.

I like RAR very much but I think devs don't have permission to modify RA because it's a real car.

Quote from PLAYLIFE :Yeah, why waste time putting up a million lamp posts if you are not gonne have night racing. But when? That is the question...

We have lamp posts in the current version... just look at this picture.

Quote from Krane :Indeed, finally a modern Street Rod type game which also happens to be sim and not a crapmasters type sim, but a proper one. Street Legal tried at that concept, but failed miserably.

Did you know that devs of Street Legal had only 1 year to make the 2 SL games? It's mainly the publisher's fault but devs are guilty because they agreed to these terms.

We are (Crusher[HUN] and me) using this method for about 1,5 years. It's not that hard when you get used to it. Now, that I have a DFP I only use mouse when I'm racing at school . I've attached my mouse config.

If you have 1Mbit upload then you could host a game for 30 people in LFS. I can host for 6 racers with a 200 kbit upload so you are able to host for five times more drivers 'cause you have the bandwith for it.

I like the idea of the very long straight road. I would like a "track" where I can just floor it and go and go and go.... I am really curios what these cars can do.

I don't know exactly why young people like LFS, but there are some very talented young drivers here who are capable of doing WRs.

If you want to control the cars smoothly you can try the method in the picture. I use this for 1 year and I can drive all cars with it. It takes a little practise but I think it's not so hard to control the cars this way.
RaceAbout specs.

On the Raceabout website we can see two versions of the car: Raceabout 02/03 and 05.
Which version is in LFS? The specs in LFS doesn't match the specs on the RaceAbout website.
